Our technicians are highly trained, people oriented, & transparent. Each tech has decades of experience in the Automotive industry & have experience working on a vast array of cars. Our techs work everything from a 1982 VW Rabbit to a 2018 Aston Martin. Our techs really are a one stop shop.
What sets you apart from the dealership?
We offer service better than the dealership, this is a family established Auto repair facility and we run it like one. We treat our customers like family and we treat their cars as if it were our own, never pushing repairs that are not needed and always looking out for the best for our customers.
Our technicians are more than happy to talk over any repairs with you and show you what needs fixing by having you walk over to their work station with them and you can visually see the issue.
We function on transparency, our amazing software allows us to text/email over any updates with your car while it is being serviced. As well as send over any pictures or videos that the technician has taken.
Mark Hovestadt has 29 years of experience in the industry. He went to San Jose City College, San Jose State University and De Anza's Auto Tech Program. His expertise is with electrical systems and drivability in addition to having the following training certifications:

Bin Zhuo is our Shop foreman and comes to us with more than 15 years of automotive experience. Bin has a B.S in Computer science and an Automotive degree, he is our go to diagnostics tech. Bin enjoys diagnosing drive ability issues on high end vehicles because they are integrated with dynamic computer systems. Having worked in Portola Valley for a plethora of years he gained experience working on highly exclusive high end cars.
Corey Burke also comes to us from the tech industry having worked in the IT industry for nearly a decade. Corey also completed the same 3 year automotive program at DeAnza that both Bin and Mark graduated from. Corey has worked at Mercedes of Stevens Creek, John Bascom Automotive, and most recently Maserati of Stevens Creek. He brings both dealership and Independent shop experience to eCar Garage. He enjoys diagnostic work & addressing drive ability issues.
Michael Atrim is our Service Manager and brings over 15 years of Automotive experience, he has an AA/AS in Electronic Engineering. Michael has worked as a technician and then transitioned into a Service Manager role. We are fortunate to have Michael on our team as he brings strong interpersonal & communication skills.
